Charter of Rights

Well, it is 2: 30 a.m. and I just recently returned home from a smashing good time at the Studio where a Christmas bash carried us into the night with carolling (led by the charming Matt McKenna), games, chocolate, gag gifts (some of which were pretty sweet), and laughter. It was good times. I now have to finish studying for my exam that is at 9 am tomorrow morning. How's that? Because I slept until 3 p.m. this afternoon and it was glorious. I feel no shame.

I am always really glad, if I happen to say something that seems racist, politically incorrect, and generally insensitive comes out, that usually only my dearest friends hear it. Here it is: I'm sorry, Felix, Africa, and Native Americans. But, in Canada, you are covered by the Charter of Rights, so what I say really doesn't matter :) And my heart really is full of love for you.
Felix, your face doesn't look weird all the time.

Ok, I'm tired and now I am just procrastinating. Man, I wish I was eating chocolate and singing with my dearest friends.

In a Name

Jason in Italian is Giasone (Gee-ah-sohn-ay..I'm guessing but this is the coolest). From now on everyone calls him that. Either that or Jazon (Ya-zon) which is Slovene. Also, "leg" in Italian is "gamba" so put those two together you have one awesome name. We also just discovered that in Hebrew "Rachel Legg" would be "Rachel Regel" which sound almost the same and even have two of the same consonants. And here I was thinking that nothing rhymed with Rachel. The things you do when you should be writing a paper....

Christmas Song for my Friends (Inspired by Phoebe Buffay)

Merry Christmas, Jason!
I hope you get more than a raisin!
Glad tidings and joy for Mira!
Have many, many a beer-a!
Christmas cheer for Dan!
One bubbly, bright cheery man!
Happy Holidays, Kat-face!
May your joy fill every place!
Rejoice for Christmas, Ash!
We will have a holiday bash! (it was either that or Smash.)
Melissa, may you be joyful!
And always pronounce it choy-ful!
For all the festive Lauras!
We will always adore yas!
For Kristel and Gayle!
May you find a boxing day sale!!! (At Vera Wang or in the vegetable aisle)
Amanda, you will be glowing!!
When on Christmas day it's snowing!!!
Mikey and Felix Lam,
Santa Claus is a sham (I'm sorry)
For Adam in Ukraine!
Christmas again and again!
Cheerful Oosterhoffs!
This Christmas will be tops!
For all my jubilant friends!
With you, Christmas never ends!

No More Chocolate!...Ok, one more...

Is it just me or does everything get messier while I get fatter during paper season. Oh the joys of the messy, fatter paper season prior to the spoiled, affluent, fatter Christmas season.
