Fine Line

They say that there is a fine line between genius and insanity and I would like to list a few examples to support that statement here:

1. Van Gogh- Eventually cut off his own ear and brought it to a prostitute for safe-keeping. No one really knows why.

2. Adolf Hitler- Ingenious and unusually charismatic leader but a little weak on the side of lovingkindness and sanity.

3. Einstein- Well, by his definition that "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," then he is a self-proclaimed loon.

4. Beethoven- Beyond the shadow of a doubt, he was a musical genius, but he may also have been verging on the side of schitzophrenia or perhaps slightly manic.

and last but certainly not least...

5. Laura Moelker- Screams at her hands to move faster while practicing complicated pieces in the piano room. If you ever witness this, do not be afraid, for she is completely harmless. It's just that fine line...

P.S. I may, however, suffer violent consequences for blogging about this.
